Professional Development Courses

After spending time in the ESL/EFL classroom teachers begin to have a sense that they can be more effective and productive, but they're not exactly sure how. Well, with our five meticulously designed and crafted professional development courses teachers now have some of the industry's best teacher-development resources at their fingertips.
Three of our courses focus on professional development in the classroom. Get Them Talking provides teachers with more efficacious ways of getting their students to actively participate in the classroom. The Instructional Strategies course introduces teachers to the most effective techniques for teaching classes with students of varying language levels. And the What Great ESL Teachers Do course offers a detailed look into the methodologies, approaches and techniques used by highly acclaimed ESL/EFL instructors. All three courses will give you that “boost” you are looking for in the classroom.
In addition, we believe that a significant part of an EFL teacher’s professional development is tied closely to his or her ability to transition successfully to life overseas. With that in mind, we offer two courses, Culture Shock and Empowering You. These courses provide teachers with the practical on-the-ground knowledge they need for living and working in a foreign country.
